GreatManufacturingStories.com is an educational web site with a singular mission: Communicating the importance of manufacturing; and the quality careers that manufacturing offers to those with the right skills. These stories address export success, safety, environmental quality, energy, technology, careers, women in manufacturing, small manufacturers, and other topics.

This educational web site was first developed by Doug Kurkul and K Executive Group in Austin, Texas in 2013. K Executive Group is a virtual communications, education, and consulting firm that leverages technology to provide research about the impact of public policies on businesses and the global economy. Kurkul is an association management professional, past Vice President of the National Association of Manufacturers, and editor of Leadership for Manufacturers magazine.
